Dilapidations

In the fifth webinar of our Property Life Cycle Series, we will provide an invaluable introductory steer through the minefield of dilapidations.

This will commonly be an eye-watering sum to fix all breaches of covenants to repair, redecorate and reinstate a tenant’s alterations or an obligation to undertake works to the same effect. We will provide some key damage limitation tactics, from minimising the exposure to dilapidations when initially agreeing lease terms, to utilising little know areas of the law to significantly reduce the damages paid.
